How luxury apartments are changing Brooklyn

New luxury apartments in Brooklyn are transforming Brooklyn into a more expensive, more desirable place.

The result is a surge in property values, and an influx of people who live there, said Kevin Smith, a real estate agent in Brooklyn who owns several luxury apartments.

Smith said he’s seen a steady influx of foreign buyers over the past several years, but he also saw the arrival of a new demographic: millennials who have chosen Brooklyn over Manhattan.

New York is no longer a city that has the middle class.

But in Brooklyn, the middle-class has been disappearing for decades, and that’s not changing, Smith said.

And the influx of new immigrants, as well as a surge of Chinese buyers, has made Brooklyn more attractive to millennials.

The city has a population of roughly 4 million, and it’s the fourth-most expensive in the country.

New Yorkers are spending more and more money on rent.

As of last year, Manhattan’s median rent was $1,972, according to real estate data company Trulia.

The median rent for a single family home in Manhattan was $2,093 in 2017.

In Brooklyn, it was $858, according a survey by real estate analytics firm Zillow.

In Queens, where Brooklyn is located, the median rent is $1.17 million, according in the study.

In the borough, the average rent was almost $1 million in 2017, according Zillows data.

The surge in luxury apartments comes as the city’s population continues to decline.

According to Zillowers data, Manhattan has seen its population decline for two consecutive years, from 792,000 people in 2017 to 685,000 in 2020.

Manhattan’s population fell by 1.7 million in the last three years.

The Brooklyn boroughs median home value is $726,500, according data from Zillower.

The number of luxury apartments is up more than 50 percent from the peak of 3,300 in 2017 and has increased by nearly 40 percent in the past two years, according Smith.

And while Smith said Brooklyn’s rental prices are more affordable than Manhattan’s, he said he knows many luxury apartments will sell within the next year or two.

“I’m looking forward to seeing what’s going to happen,” he said.
